Developmental psychologist and psychotherapist Mia Frumau is the director of her private practice, called Psychologenpraktijk Frumau, where she works with a multidisciplinair team. Her spearhead as a psychotherapist is existential therapy combined with art therapy with gifted of all ages but mostly 3-25 yrs. Mia Frumau is codirector of an educational practice for the gifted, called Breinsteyn. She is a Ph. D. student, in her research project she highlights the various aspects of non-academic intelligence and personality factors in the gifted young adolescent. She pays attention to emotional intelligence, creativity, practical intelligence, motivation, personality factors (little five), ego-development, cognitive coping, strengths, difficulties and stressful life events in these adolescents. The highly gifted and gifted adolescents in this study will be compared with average and above average intelligent adolescents. She conducts this research on the Department of Social Science, Radboud University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands with the promotors prof. dr. Jan J.L.Derksen, & dr. Willy A.M. Peters
