Full Professor of Psychology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Revista de Psicología, and President of the Curricular Change Commission of the Psychology Program. Also, she is a Member of the Advisory Committee of the Doctoral Program in Psychology, Treasurer of Alumni PUCP and Coordinator of the Inter-Disciplinary Research Group Creativity, Technology, and Talent. She runs Mente Futura, a Foundation dedicated to the identification and support of highly able children and youths living under poverty conditions in Peru. Elected National Representative of Peru for the Inter-American Society of Psychology, is the actual President of the Organizing Committee for the next Inter-American Conference to be held in Lima on July 2015. She is also the Peruvian Delegate to both, the European Council for High Ability, and the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children. On 2000 she defended her doctoral thesis at Radboud Universiteit, Nijmegen, and on 2005 she received GDNet/World Bank Young Scientist Award in Applied Education. Her research interests are related to the psychology of creativity, the application of ICT in learning processes, the identification of giftedness, and the development of talents towards excellence.
