The goal of this get-together is to give graduate students an opportunity to seek advice from more experienced researchers in the field about different aspects of the research process. Students can join tables that are hosted by prominent researchers in the field. Each table has a topic, including (but not limited to) finding a dissertation topic, how to get your work published, optimizing the advisor-advisee working relationship, and qualitative versus quantitative research. Graduate students can also bring their own topics.
