Bled – natural pearl of Slovenia

With immense natural beauty, Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts, renowned for its mild, healing climate and thermal lake water. At 14:00 we'll depart from Ljubljana by bus to Bled, where we'll ascend to the old castle perched on the top of a steep cliff above glacial lake Bled. Then we'll return to shore of lake and take a boat ride on "Pletna" (traditional boat made by locals) to the only real island in Slovenia and ring the "fortune bell" in island church, while we're there. After return to the shore we'll enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping, strolling and of course the delicious local desert "kremšnita". At 19:30 we'll depart for Ljubljana. The expected arrival is around 21:00.
